It is reported that six leading steel tubes mills in South Korea like SeAH Steel, Hyundai Hysco, Husteel, Miju Steel, Histee and Kumkangindustrial have imported less HRC in October 2008.
Their total imported volume for October 2008 reached 92,000 tonnes, down by 32% MoM but up by 58.6% YoY.
Among others, Chinese origin HRC stands at 65,700 tonnes, down by 15.8% MoM, accounting for 71.1% of the total imports which compares with the previous 57.5% in September 2008.
